For venues with a storage room

Your gear earns money while it sits on the shelf.

List your lights, sound, staging and tables once. Borrowers book and pay from their phone, with no account. You hand it over and check it back in with a scan.

See it first: browse a demo catalog as a borrower, or open the demo venue to see the venue side.

The idea

One list, then it runs itself.

  1. Step 1On your shelfEach piece has a QR label.
  2. Step 2Booked onlineA borrower picks dates and pays.
  3. Step 3Scanned outStaff scan it at pickup.
  4. Step 4Scanned inCondition checked, photos kept.
  5. Step 5Paid outMoney lands in your Stripe account.

Nobody at the venue approves bookings, chases payments or sends reminders. The only time you touch it is at the handoff.

What you get

Everything a rental desk does, without the desk.

  • A catalog borrowers can bookDates first, only what's free, every fee shown before they pay.
  • A label on every pieceQR labels on standard sticker sheets. Any phone camera reads them.
  • Late fees and damage, handledCharged to the saved card, capped at each item's replacement value.
  • Money in your own accountPayouts go from your Stripe account to your bank, on Stripe's schedule.

For borrowers

Rent from a phone, no account needed.

A name, an email and a phone number are enough. The total at the bottom of the screen already includes every fee, so there's no surprise at the end.

Afterward, one private link holds the pickup time, the agreement, every charge and a button to add days.

For venues

Add gear once. Renting runs itself.

Import the spreadsheet you already keep, or start from a list of what venues like yours own. Holds stop two people booking the last mic. Reminders, late fees and receipts send themselves.

A rental's timeline: what happened and what's scheduled next

  • No double bookingThe last unit goes to exactly one borrower.
  • Reports that pay offSee what earns, what sits idle, what to sell.

Labels and scanning

Print a label. Scan it out, scan it back.

Labels print black on white on standard Avery sheets, so a photocopy still scans. At the dock, staff point a phone at the label and tap once. A photo going out sits beside the photo coming back.

No signal in the loading dock? Scans save on the phone and sync when it reconnects.

Questions

What venues ask first.

Do borrowers need an account?
No. They book with a name, email and phone, and get one private link for their rental.
What if gear comes back late or damaged?
Late fees are charged each day to the saved card and stop at the item's replacement value. Staff note damage at check in with photos; you decide the charge.
Can I keep gear for my own shows?
Yes. Block dates, take a piece out of service, or keep it off the public catalog.
Who holds the money?
You do. Payments go to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank.
What about insurance?
Flag the gear that needs it. Borrowers upload a certificate; trusted repeat borrowers skip it.
Can it go on our website?
Yes. Paste one line of code and your catalog appears on your own page.
What if we stop the plan?
New bookings pause. Rentals already booked still go out, come back and get charged as agreed, and nothing is deleted.
