Ticket Purchase Terms
The short version: you are buying from the venue or organizer, not from us. We take the payment, send the ticket, and pass the money on. Refunds are set by the organizer and shown before you pay.
Who you are buying from
Sizzle LLC, d/b/a EventTicketGo operates EventTicketGo as a ticketing platform. The seller is the organizer named on the event page. Your contract to attend is with them. They are responsible for the event happening, for it being as described, and for admitting you.
What you pay
The total shown before you confirm is what your card is charged. It breaks down into the ticket face value, any add-ons you chose, and fees. Fees are itemised on the checkout page before payment, never added afterwards.
Depending on the event, our flat per-ticket fee is either added to your total or absorbed by the organizer. Either way the page shows it before you pay.
Your ticket
Your tickets arrive by email with a QR code, and are also available at the link in that email. Bring either the email or the link — a phone screen is fine. Each QR code admits one person once.
Screenshots and forwarded copies all carry the same code, so only one of them will get in. If you are giving a ticket to someone else, use the transfer link instead: it issues them a fresh code and cancels the old one.
If your tickets do not arrive, check your spam folder first, then use the resend tool at /help/tickets.
Refunds and exchanges
The organizer sets the refund policy, and it is shown on the event page before you buy. Common policies are refunds up to a number of days before the event, refunds any time, or no refunds. Where a policy allows it, you can request a refund from your ticket page.
If the event is cancelled, you get your money back in full, automatically — you do not need to ask. If it is rescheduled, your ticket is valid for the new date; if you cannot make it, ask the organizer.
Refunds return to the card you paid with, and usually appear within five to ten business days.
Getting in
Arrive in time for doors. The organizer may refuse admission for the reasons stated on the event page — age limits, behaviour, or arriving after a stated cut-off. Ticket resale is a matter for the organizer’s own terms.
Accessibility
Wheelchair spaces and accessible seating are marked on the seating map where the venue has provided them. If you need something the map does not cover, contact the organizer before buying — their contact address is on the event page.
If any part of buying a ticket is difficult for you to use, tell us at support@eventticketgo.com and we will take your order over email and fix the underlying problem.
If something goes wrong
For anything about the event itself — the line-up, the venue, refunds, access — contact the organizer. For anything about the ticket reaching you, the payment, or the site, contact us at support@eventticketgo.com.
Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank: a chargeback cancels your ticket automatically and takes far longer than us simply refunding you.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for delivering your ticket and handling your payment correctly. We are not responsible for the event, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Your data
Your name and email go to the organizer so they can run the event. See our Privacy Policy.
