Text Message Terms
EventTicketGo Crew Alerts: who gets our texts, how they sign up, what we send, and how to stop.
What the program is
Venues use EventTicketGo to schedule the crew who work their events — ushers, box office, stagehands, volunteers. Crew members who opt in get text messages about their own shifts: new shift offers, confirmations, reminders, and changes or cancellations. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.
Messages are sent by Sizzle LLC, d/b/a EventTicketGo on behalf of the venue you work for.
How you opt in
You opt in yourself, on your crew profile, by entering your mobile number and ticking an unticked box. A venue cannot opt you in for you, and importing your number into a crew list does not sign you up. Until you tick the box, we only email you. This is the form you see:
Shift alerts by text
Agreeing to texts is never a condition of being offered or working a shift. Everything we text, we also email.
How often
Message frequency varies with how many shifts your venue schedules — typically a few messages a week, more during busy show weeks.
Cost
We do not charge for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
How to stop, or get help
- Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message. We send one final text confirming you are opted out, and send nothing more unless you opt in again.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@eventticketgo.com.
- You can also untick the box on your crew profile at any time, or ask your venue to remove your number.
Example messages
- “EventTicketGo: Touhill PAC has a shift for you: Sat Oct 25, 5:30pm–11pm, Usher. Reply Y to take it or N to pass. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “EventTicketGo: Reminder — your shift at Touhill PAC starts tomorrow at 5:30pm. Check in at the stage door. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “EventTicketGo: Your Sat Oct 25 shift at Touhill PAC was cancelled by the venue. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
Your privacy
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share your number only with Twilio, the provider that delivers our texts, and with the venue you work for. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers.
